SLP Team Participates in ESG Reporting & Compliance Workshop

Southern Latex Products Sdn. Bhd. participated in the ESG Reporting & Compliance Workshop, a two-day programme organised to strengthen ESG awareness and practical understanding within the Malaysian rubber industry.

The workshop provided participants with practical guidance on the application of the Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC) ESG Guidelines and its supporting tools, covering key areas such as ESG maturity assessment, materiality assessment, ESG action planning, supplier due diligence, greenhouse gas (GHG) assessment tools and ESG reporting templates.

The programme also highlighted the growing importance of ESG reporting and compliance in response to evolving customer expectations, investor requirements, regulatory developments and international sustainability reporting practices.

Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, SLP participants gained valuable insights into integrating ESG principles into business operations, strengthening sustainability practices and improving the organisation’s readiness to meet evolving ESG requirements.
